We often get comments from patients that have had positive experiences at our hospital. Do you mind if we share them with you?
Brigham City resident Penny Young (shown above) told us her story and we feel like it is one worth repeating.
Naturally, our nurses delight in sharing joyful moments when new mothers welcome their babies into the world.
And those same compassionate nurses share tears, provide a shoulder to lean on, and a caring hug when childbirth occasionally turns into a time of loss.
“The nurses were so sweet the day we lost our son,” says Penny. “They cried with me and went out of their way to help me. “They went out of their way to help, and even scrapbooked with me while I was there.”
At our hospital, we treat patients like family. Our compassionate nurses (and volunteers) are known to go the extra mile; they take good care of patients – and regularly offer a caring hug, a shoulder to lean on, or hand to hold.
Thank you, Penny, for trusting us with your healthcare, and for passing on your nice comments. Though we share your grief, we also feel some comfort knowing that we were able to help you through a difficult time.
