Imagine you go to a restaurant and order a big, fancy meal. But, this restaurant is…well, strange! It demands that you only take one bite before having to move to a completely different table. Once you reach your new table, you see a different meal, a different waiter greets you and you’re sitting by people you don’t even know!
I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I’d be visiting that restaurant very often (or ever).
Now, think of it in terms of delivering your baby. Why would you want to go through the stress and discomfort of having to change rooms at every step of the process?
At Brigham City Community Hospital, we’ve made it easier on new moms and their family with the Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) rooms. Learn more here.
When you deliver at our hospital’s LDRP rooms you stay in THAT room for the entire delivery. The room you are in during the labor process is the same room where you will spend your hospital stay.
We also believe that every expectant mother and her baby deserve good quality, personalized care during a pregnancy. That is why you’ll find four, extensively experienced OB/GYN practitioners on the medical staff at our hospital. Carlos M. Dibble, M.D., Raquel Dibble, C.N.M., Daniel Ferguson, M.D. and Jeffery R. Lish, M.D. are the specially-trained professionals who dedicate their time and attention to every aspect of childbirth to ensure that your delivery is indeed something very special. (Find them here.)
To learn more about LDRP rooms, call (435) 734-4136. Kari (director of Women’s Services – that’s her photo above) and her staff are always willing to talk with you about having your baby at our hospital.
(Speaking of babies, here‘s a laughing baby video worth watching.)
By the way, where do YOU like to eat here in Brigham? I’m always up for learning about tasty food…please comment and let me know where I should try.
